The Capacity Management module provides a comprehensive overview of the data center’s rack utilization. The module shows overall rack usage, including total rack power consumption and total rack weight usage.

The module also provides detailed information for each individual rack, including its maximum U capacity, consumed Us, available space, assigned power (kW), and weight limits (kg). A new rack can be created only when all three required parameters: Rack Units (U), Rack Power (kW), and Rack Weight (kg) are filled in. If any extra or unsupported category is added, the system will not allow the rack to be created.

To enhance clarity and quick interpretation, a donut chart visually represents overall capacity distribution, helping operators easily assess current utilization levels and plan for future expansion or optimization.

Figure: Capacity management showing all the rack details

Users can also search for specific racks within the data center by entering the rack name in the search bar, as shown in the interface. This makes it easy to quickly locate and review the details of any rack.
